We first caught wind of this partnership back <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/dfb5bf6b-68b8-4c9f-9b73-050685364585\/hapag-lloyd-and-maersk-join-forces-to-optimize-schedule-reliability\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">in January<\/a>, but the US Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) held up the launch <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/e06a580f-170e-49c7-9348-c7e2ef385395\/us-delays-maersk-%2B-hapag-lloyd-jv-from-coming-into-effect\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">in July<\/a> pending the divulgence of additional information needed to determine the venture\u2019s competitive impact.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>IN OTHER OMAN NEWS- Oman <\/strong><strong>opens bids for MRO facility management at MIA: <\/strong>Oman\u2019s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will receive bids for the operation and management of Muscat International Airport\u2019s maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility, with a deadline set at 27 November, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.caa.gov.om\/en\/media\/mission-vision-values\/2024\/investment-opportunity-to-operate-and-manage-muscat-international-airport-s-maintenance-repair-and-overhaul-mro-facility\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> released last week.
