<\/strong>DHL + Envision partner up on sustainable innovations<\/strong> in logistics: <\/strong>DHL Group has inked a strategic partnership agreement with green tech firm Envision<\/a> to foster sustainable innovations in the logistics and energy sectors, according to a press release (pdf)<\/a>. The partnership will cover providing logistics solutions, the supply of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), the provision of green energy, and the joint development of a \"Net Zero Industrial & Logistic Park\". <\/p>\n

More details:<\/strong> Under the agreement, DHL will serve as Envision\u2019s preferred logistics partner, providing it with fully integrated solutions to enhance efficiency and ensure streamlined logistics operations. The agreement also includes the establishment of a Net Zero Industrial Park, which is a new class of industrial park that integrates the supply chains of several industries including EV and battery production, according to the statement. Envision\u2019s Park is already in operation in Asia and parts of Europe and the Middle East.<\/p>\n

Two large oil tankers caught fire after colliding near Singapore on Frida<\/strong>y<\/strong>, Reuters<\/a> reported earlier this week. The Singapore-flagged tanker Hafnia Nile \u2014 carrying about 300k barrels of naphtha \u2014 collided with Chinese-owned Ceres I, which was reportedly carrying around 2 mn barrels of Iranian crude oil. <\/p>\n

No body, no crime: <\/strong>The Sao Tome and Principe-flagged supertanker Ceres I fled the scene of the fiery collision, and was later found in Malaysian waters with two tugboats towing it, according to a separate Reuters<\/a> report.
