Irish-American multinational company <\/strong>Eaton<\/a><\/strong> has<\/strong> inked an agreement with UAE\u2019s Jebel <\/strong>Ali Freezone (<\/strong>Jafza<\/strong>) to build a 500k <\/strong>sqft sustainable manufacturing campus<\/strong>, Wam<\/a> reports. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025 and targets a 2026 completion date. <\/p>\n

What we know: <\/strong>The campus will house an R&D facility focused on sustainable manufacturing, power management, machine learning, and AI, with the aim of expanding Eaton's research, engineering, and manufacturing capacity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jafza is picking up steam: <\/strong>RSA Cold Chain began construction on its flagship 40k pallet cold storage facility in the freezone in May<\/a> which is slated for completion in 1Q 2025. Transworld signed off on a 50k sqm logistics center last December<\/a> also targeting a 2025 completion date. <\/p>\n
