GWC has a new managing director: <\/strong>Qatar-based logistics and warehousing outfit Gulf<\/a>Warehousing Company<\/a> has appointed Abdulla Bin Fahad Al Thani as its new managing director, according to a press release<\/a>. Al Thani has served on the company\u2019s board of directors since 2008, and held previous positions at Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), Muntajat (Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company QPJSC), and Qatar Steel, the statement said. <\/p>\n

UAE-based logistics giant <\/strong>Aramex<\/a><\/strong>has appointed Tim Martin (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as <\/strong>Chief <\/strong>Commercial Officer<\/strong>, according to a press release<\/a>. Martin previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Dronamics<\/a> and Senior Vice President, Marketing, and Sales at DHL Global Forwarding, bringing more than 33 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain sector. Martin will work to bolster Aramex\u2019s e-commerce presence and enhance multi-modal solutions in line with the company\u2019s five-year strategy, the statement said.<\/p>\n

The company has also appointed Fran\u00e7oise Russo (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as Chief Technology Officer<\/strong>, according to the press release. Prior to the appointment, Russo served as the Chief Information Officer at Tabcorp<\/a> in Australia.
