Egypt\u2019s new high-speed electric train network will connect airports, seaports, dry ports, <\/strong>and logistical centers to enable multimodal transportation<\/strong>, according to a statement<\/a>. The first line of the railway \u2014 connecting Ain Sokhna, New Alamein, and Matrouh \u2014 was inspected by Transport Minister Kamel Al-Wazir on Sunday. The project aims to connect industrial production areas with export points along the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n

Details:<\/strong> When completed the new railway will serve new and existing urban and industrial areas including Helwan, May 15th, Borg El Arab, October 6th, New Minya, and New Assiut. <\/p>\n
