TikTok is banking on logistics:<\/strong> Chinese video sharing platform TikTok<\/a> is looking to make use of r its substantial streaming audience as it looks to wrest a share of the US e-commerce market from market leader Amazon<\/a>, WSJ<\/a> reports. The platform is setting up a network of warehouses and fulfillment operations, and taking on day-to-day tasks such as inventory management and delivery from the wide range of independent merchants selling goods on the application. Unlike Amazon however, the company is outsourcing these operations to logistics service providers such as ShipBob and Newegg, WSJ said.<\/p>\n
