Global maritime outfit <\/strong>Sea & Ports Group<\/a><\/strong>has completed its acquisition of 100% of <\/strong>Morocco\u2019s NAL Maroc Maritime Agency<\/strong>,after receiving the greenlight from Morocco's Competition Council, according to a statement<\/a>. The acquisition expands Sea & Ports\u2019 operations in Africa, where it already operates through its representation of South Korean maritime firm HMM in Algeria and Tunisia. NAL Maroc was also the representative of HMM in Morocco before the acquisition. <\/p>\n

The merged entity has now become the representative in Morocco for its maritime line<\/strong>, Marguisa Shipping Lines, which boosts its presence in Moroccan trade with West Africa, Break Bulk said. <\/p>\n

Background:<\/strong>Sea & Ports had initially acquired<\/a> what it said was a \u201cconsiderable\u201d stake in NAL Maroc last year. <\/p>\n
