The annual ranking lists the world\u2019s top 100 container ports based on yearly throughput figures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">12 regional ports made the cut:<\/span><span style=\"\"> The UAE\u2019s Dubai and Abu Dhabi ports, KSA\u2019s Dammam, Jeddah, and King Abdullah ports, Oman\u2019s Salalah port, Egypt\u2019s Port Said port, Morocco\u2019s Tanger Med port, and Turkey\u2019s Ambarli, Kocaeli, Mersin, and Tekirdag ports all made it into Lloyd\u2019s ranking of the world\u2019s busiest ports in terms of throughput volumes. <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lloydslist.maritimeintelligence.informa.com\/one-hundred-container-ports-2022\" style=\"\">Last year\u2019s ranking<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> featured 10 MENA ports.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">The top performing ports: <\/span><span style=\"\">Dubai\u2019s port is still the first regionally in terms of throughput, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">retaining its 2022 rank of 11th worldwide. Morocco\u2019s Tanger Med port followed at 24, while Jeddah Islamic Port ranked at 41, falling one spot from last year\u2019s ranking. Oman\u2019s Salalah Port climbed one spot to settle at 44. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Abu Dhabi showed the biggest gains when compared to 2022<\/span><span style=\"\">, jumping 10 spots from 57 to 47, with the results highlighting the effects of significant <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/840c8b66-5da2-43e0-a795-6843ddd037c3\" style=\"\">investments<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> at the port recently.
