The financing round was led by sustainability funding platform <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pyse.in\/\" style=\"\">Pyse<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, the company said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Where the funds are going:<\/span><span> The investment will allow One Moto to expand its offering of electric delivery vehicles to customers to some 50k vehicles by 2025, and further cement its network across the UAE, digital platform <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sme10x.com\/technology\/one-moto-secures-40m-in-lease-financing-to-accelerate-leasing-of-electric-delivery-vehicles-in-the-uae\" style=\"\">SME10x<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> notes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Plug and play: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">One Moto\u2019s motorcycles will not need charging infrastructure beyond the standard 3-pin socket, CEO Adam Ridgway told SME10x, and the bikes deployed in the UAE come with swappable battery banks. One Moto\u2019s vans also use standard type-2 chargers, which can be installed within any company facilities if needed. The company is working with various UAE EV charging companies to supplement the demand, Ridway added, and noted that One Moto\u2019s R&D team is developing \u201cgroundbreaking charging\u201d for all EVs, which the company will announce in 4Q 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">About One Moto:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> The London-headquartered sustainable mobility startup offers a wide fleet of delivery vehicles including motorcycles, e-bikes, scooters, delivery and grocery vans, according to its website.
