Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (Rakez) and the Indian Chamber of Food and <\/span>Agriculture (ICFA) are furthering \u201cstrategic collaboration\u201d <\/span>within the food and agriculture sectors<\/span>under an MoU the two sides signed, <\/span>WAM<\/a><\/span> reports<\/span>. The agreement sets the stage for the promotion of trade, and market access between food and agriculture businesses in Rakez and India. The MoU also looks to build research and development ties between Rakez-based institutions and their Indian counterparts on agricultural innovation, crop improvement, sustainable farming practices, and food processing technologies, according to WAM. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>FedEx has rolled out its sustainability monitoring tools to select markets in Asia <\/span>Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA)<\/span>, according to a <\/span>press release<\/a><\/span>. The tool \u2014 dubbed FedEx Sustainability Insights \u2014 <\/span>was launched in May<\/a><\/span> and provides customers with real time data allowing them to monitor the carbon footprint of their shipments. FedEx customers can use this data to align their shipping strategies with their sustainability objectives, FedEx says. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>CMA CGM adds Egypt to its Greece-Turkey-Libya service:<\/span> French shipping giant <\/span>CMA CGM<\/a><\/span> has <\/span>reshuffled its Greece Turkey Libya Express (GTL) service to include Egypt\u2019s Port Said, as part of a fresh set of improvements to help make the line more efficient and expand its coverage, according to a <\/span>company statement<\/a><\/span>. The service, which calls in at ports in Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Malta, and Libya, extended the duration of its weekly rotation from 21 days to 28, according to the statement. The service includes a fleet of four 1.2k TEU vessels. The new features will come into effect with its first merchant vessel, slated to depart on 10 July, it added.<\/span><\/p>\n
