After successfully completing a three-month trial period in pilot areas, there are plans to expand the project to more areas and \u201cget more vendors on board,\u201d Krillov added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">How they work:<\/span><span> The technology used for the bots, which are developed by <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sdg.yandex.com\/\" style=\"\">Yandex Self Driving Group<\/a><\/span><span>, allows the devices to drive on pavements, cross roads, and navigate traffic<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. Trial data has shown that the bots run autonomously 97% of the time, with human involvement required if the bot gets stuck.
