The cloud data region, which will house data centers, was launched in partnership with Qatar\u2019s Communications and Information Technology Ministry (MCIT) and <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/qfz.gov.qa\/\" style=\"\">Qatar FreeZone Authority<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. The statement does not disclose the number of data centers set to be established in the region, or the cost of their construction. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">The details: <\/span><span style=\"\">The cloud region is connected to Google's secure network infrastructure, with high capacity fiber optic cables underground and at the bottom of the sea, the statement said. This new region aims to bring high performance services and products to organizations and companies across the Middle East, according to the statement.
