The network consists of six autonomous drones which will perform 18 daily flights in the 120 <\/span><span style=\"\">squared<\/span><span style=\"\"> km area of the Antwerp port. The drones will help facilitate \u201csmooth, safe and sustainable operations in the complex,\u201d <\/span><span style=\"\">by \u201cenabling<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> port authorities to manage, inspect and supervise the area\u201d from an aerial perspective, according to the statement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">This will be the first ever implementation of beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone flights on such a scale<\/span><span style=\"\">, according to the statement. <\/span><span style=\"\">The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">drones will be controlled remotely from a command and control center.
