The potential move \u2014 which is not final and is still being discussed inside the Transport Ministry \u2014 comes as the government has some 30 logistics zones to offer up to local and foreign investors, our source said. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The creation of the new authority would help streamline investments into logistics zones<\/strong>, as the authority would allocate land directly to investors and have the ability to draft flexible contracts suited to the nature of each zone, whether agricultural, industrial, or commercial, the source told us. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>There\u2019s talk of more:<\/strong> Egypt and Tanzania are looking to set up reciprocal logistics zones in each country, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1ADigWr26o\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> from the Industry Ministry.
