The agreements, worth <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/aerospace-defense\/south-korean-firms-pledge-150-billion-us-investments-summit-2025-08-26\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">USD 150 bn<\/a>, include <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/autos-transportation\/south-korea-bets-big-reviving-troubled-us-shipbuilding-woo-trump-2025-08-26\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">11 non-binding contracts<\/a> in other commodities such as AI, nuclear energy, and critical minerals. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>On the aviation front<\/strong>, South Korean carrier Korean Air has placed a mega Boeing order worth USD 36.2 bn for 103 jets in a bid to modernize its fleet.
