Trump would have to give final approval on any agreement, Bessent confirmed. The talks come as the SCZone works on digitizing its operations, and is looking to improve governance, operational efficiency, and cargo handling capacities at its ports. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- SCZone\u2019s on a digital kick: <\/strong>SCZone <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/1c94eb2f-2440-445e-bc67-c173518db753\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">launched the first phase<\/a> of a new digital services platform in March for investors, offering them the chance to turn in applications and receive project approvals and licenses through a single platform. The platform \u2014 developed with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development \u2014 will feature more services in the phases that follow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- The Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries Company is exploring developing a <\/strong><strong>USD 400 mn bioethanol production plant at its facilities in Kom Ombo<\/strong>, Managing Director Salah Fathy told <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/almalnews.com\/premium\/2067941\/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%85%D9%88%D9%8A%D9%86-%D8%AA%D8%AF%D8%B1%D8%B3-%D8%AA%D9%86%D9%81%D9%8A%D8%B0-%D9%85%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%B9-%D9%84%D8%A5%D9%86%D8%AA%D8%A7%D8%AC-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A5%D9%8A%D8%AB%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%84-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%89-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%86\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">AlMal<\/a>. The project is set to poise all surplus production for exports \u2014 although the local market will remain the primary focus. The project will be implemented in partnership with Italy\u2019s Eni and Proger, and co-financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Technical and financial studies are still underway. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a id=\"wwtt3\"><\/a> <\/strong> <strong>#3- <\/strong><strong>Korea\u2019s Hyundai Rotem is prepared to actively contribute to <\/strong><strong>Morocco\u2019s rail expansion plan<\/strong>, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maroc.ma\/en\/news\/morocco-emerges-major-hub-foreign-industrial-investment\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>, citing rail solutions head Jeong Hoon Kim as saying.
