Let\u2019s get to it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">WATCH THIS SPACE-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a id=\"wwtt1\"><\/a>#1- <\/strong><strong>British oil giant<\/strong><strong> Shell reportedly plans to <\/strong><strong>increase its natgas production in Egypt by 170 mn cubic ft per day by the end of 2024 <\/strong>from deep-water sites west of the Nile Delta, an unnamed government official told <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.asharqbusiness.com\/power\/61559\/%D8%B4%D9%84-%D8%AA%D8%B2%D9%88%D8%AF-%D9%85%D8%B5%D8%B1-%D8%A8-170-%D9%85%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%86-%D9%82%D8%AF%D9%85-%D8%BA%D8%A7%D8%B2-%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%85%D9%8A%D8%A7-%D8%A5%D8%B6%D8%A7%D9%81%D9%8A%D8%A9-%D9%82%D8%A8%D9%84-%D9%86%D9%87%D8%A7%D9%8A%D8%A9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%85\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Asharq Business<\/a>. The production increase is part of USD 22 mn agreement inked <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/e61d001a-ad4a-4b9d-a77f-d7300a6fdeed\/we-have-a-usd-500-mn-fertilizer-plant-in-the-making.-plus:-fresh-oil-agreements,-investments\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">back in July<\/a> between Egypt\u2019s Oil Ministry, Shell, and Malaysia's Petronas to drill three gas production wells and build offshore facilities in West Delta to boost its gas production. The project added some 40 mn cubic ft per day in October and 65 mn cubic ft per day in November, with another 65 mn cubic ft per day slated to be added in December. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Shell and Petronas are collaborating with Egypt to develop<\/strong><strong> three fields<\/strong><strong> in the West Delta offshore region<\/strong>, Asharq writes. Around 40 mn cubic ft per day of production were added in October, 65 mn cubic ft per day in November, and almost another 65 mn cubic ft per day will be added this December. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Shoring up domestic supply? <\/strong>Egypt has been reviewing its <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/56fa7e88-579e-4b1d-a52e-66fbea7cb307\/today:-a-big-day-for-regional-rail-projects-%2B-egypt%25e2%2580%2599s-sczone-signs-land-agreement-with-orascom-industrial-parks\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">LNG needs<\/a> and \u201cupdating production and consumption models according to actual figures\u201d with the aim of \u201cachieving the optimal and most efficient energy mix,\u201d although the country said it will need to import another <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/fba659b5-da9a-4757-b7ab-980c91537248\/egypt-set-for-more-lng-imports-until-winter\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">17-20 shipments<\/a> of LNG in 1Q 2025. Egypt has been shifting LNG imports away from int\u2019l tenders towards long-term deals since <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/f31e8315-3cd9-44b3-b1bf-93f17610ab06\/today:-two-new-zones-are-in-the-works-for-egypt-%2B-a-new-green-aviation-ecosystem-for-the-uae%3F\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">November<\/a>, with The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company negotiating the agreements. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- Adnoc hinted that it is considering floating additional shares for Adnoc Gas on the ADX <\/strong>to boost liquidity and bring more investors on board, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2024\/11\/2327.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">disclosure to the ADX (pdf)<\/a>. Amazon\u2019s UK headquarters will see planned demonstrations and a petition asking for tax reforms, hosting over 110k signatures, will be delivered to the UK government.
