Let\u2019s jump right in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">WATCH THIS SPACE-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a id=\"wwtt1\"><\/a>#1- A Saudi delegation is at the <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.transportlogistic-china.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Global Logistics Forum<\/a><\/strong><strong>, which kicked off yesterday <\/strong><strong>in Shanghai and wraps tomorrow.<\/strong> The delegation includes representatives from the transport and logistics services and investment ministries, the Transport General Authority, Mawani, and Saudi Arabia Railways, among several others. The forum brings together over 680 visitors from 67 countries delving into multiple facets of the logistics industry, including such as logistics services, air cargo, ports &amp; shipping logistics, road &amp; railway transportation, logistics real estate, fresh foods logistics, smart logistics, logistics equipment, and special purpose vehicles. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><\/strong><strong><a id=\"wwtt2\"><\/a>#2- <\/strong><strong>Airbus has downgraded its <\/strong><strong>expectations for the number of aircraft deliveries in 2024 <\/strong><strong>on the back of <\/strong><strong>supply chain issues<\/strong>, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2024\/6\/1606.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">press release (pdf)<\/a>. The company said it is anticipating to deliver 770 commercial aircrafts, down from a previous forecast of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/9fceec0c-837a-4c2f-8656-adb7051757f1\/airbus-recorded-a-revenues-boost-and-a-dip-in-net-income-in-2023\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">800 deliveries<\/a>. The aerospace firm expects its updated earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) to settle at EUR 5.5 bn (USD 5.9 bn), down from a previous estimate of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.airbus.com\/sites\/g\/files\/jlcbta136\/files\/2024-04\/EN-Press-Release-Airbus-Q12024-Results-r5f4f.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">EUR 6.5 to EUR 7 bn<\/a> in April 2024. Airbus\u2019 shares shed 11% on Tuesday after the profit warning, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/european-shares-open-lower-airbus-tech-drag-2024-06-25\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a> reported. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><\/strong><strong><a id=\"wwtt3\"><\/a>#3- Blue World tests green methanol maritime fuel cell system: <\/strong>Danish cell manufacturer <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blue.world\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Blue World<\/a> has successfully completed testing of the first ever 20 kW high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) maritime fuel cell system that runs on green methanol, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blue.world\/blue-world-completes-successful-testing-of-200-kw-maritime-fuel-cell-system-to-run-on-green-methanol\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>. The module will allow 20-30% in fuel savings with its 55% electrical efficiency, and 100% of the system can be used for carbon capture. It is set to be installed on one of Maersk\u2019s large dual fuel-enabled methanol vessels in 1H 2026. The trial comes after Maersk\u2019s venture arm Maersk Growth had participated in an EUR 11 mn pre-C round venture investment alongside other shareholders at the end of last year. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Why is this important? <\/strong>These new large fuel systems provide a promising alternative to the shipping industry that is notoriously hard to decarbonize with its strong dependence on fossil-based technologies. Blue World will first supply the systems for auxiliary power at a commercial level in 2027, before working on expanding to multi MW propulsion systems for global shipping. <\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">MARKET WATCH- <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#1- Oil prices inched up in early morning trading driven by sustained regional geopolitical <\/strong><strong>risks and 3Q peak demand season, <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/commodities\/oil-edges-lower-after-industry-group-reports-jump-us-stockpiles-2024-06-26\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a> reports. Brent crude futures for August rose to USD 85.41 per barrel by 04.06 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate for August inched up to USD 81.26 per barrel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- <\/strong><strong>Baltic index takes a dip:<\/strong> The Baltic Exchange\u2019s dry bulk sea freight index \u2014 which tracks rates for the capesize, panamax, and supramax vessel segment \u2014 has fallen 1.2% to 1,973, weighed down by low rates in capesize and panamax segments, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hellenicshippingnews.com\/baltic-index-falls-as-larger-vessel-rates-dip\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a> reports. The capesize subindex fell 1.6% to 3,093 points, while the panamax index was down 1.9% to 1,792.
