href=\"https:\/\/www.rosatom.ru\/en\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Rosatom<\/a><\/strong><strong> and <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dpworld.com\/en\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">DP World<\/a><\/strong><strong> have set up a<\/strong><strong> joint <\/strong><strong>venture to develop container shipping through the Arctic<\/strong><strong>route<\/strong>, Suez Canal Authority (SCA) will grant dry bulk ships moving between Egypt\u2019s Red Sea ports and South-West African ports a 20-45% rebate on transit fees, according to an authority <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2023\/10\/1207.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">circular (pdf)<\/a>. Vessels coming from or heading to Ghana, Togo, Benin, or Nigeria will receive a 20% rebate, while those en route to or from Cameroon will receive a 45% discount. The decision will go into effect starting November and will last until the end of June 2024. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;line-height:1.15;margin-right:-9pt;margin-left:0;margin-top:0;orphans:2;margin-bottom:0;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>A<\/strong><strong> British inland bulk carrier <\/strong><strong>sank in the German <\/strong><strong>North Sea<\/strong><strong>after colliding with another vessel<\/strong>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/splash247.com\/several-missing-after-cargo-ship-sinks-off-german-coast\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Splash<\/a> reports. The 2001-built 3.4k-dwt general cargo ship collided with 8k-dwt bulk carrier Polesie, which is still afloat, Splash reports. Four of the seven people who were on the ship are missing, and one has been confirmed dead. A search for the missing individuals is underway. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"> <a id=\"wwtt2\"><\/a> <strong>WATCH THIS SPACE #1- <\/strong><strong>Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says that the <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/19e98605-3beb-4912-b0a5-b01a9d403f51\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">conflict<\/a><\/strong><strong> between<\/strong><strong> Armenia <\/strong><strong>and Azerbaijan is close to being resolved<\/strong>, Russian News Agency <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tass.com\/world\/1695647\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Tass<\/a> reports. The announcement followed a meeting of foreign ministers from the member countries of the 3+3 format, which comprises Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. \u201cThe conflict has largely been resolved. Both sides have agreed that Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan, and this was the main unresolved problem,\u201d Lavrov was quoted as saying. Brazilian investors and companies are looking to invest in the food, pharma, cosmetic, and medical equipment sectors in Egypt, Mansour added.
