E-commerce fulfillment start<\/strong>up <\/strong>Salasa<\/a><\/strong> secured USD 30 mn in a series B funding round<\/strong> led by Artal Capital with participation from SVC, Wa\u2019ed Ventures, 500 Global, Alsulaiman Group, and other strategic investors, according to a press release (pdf)<\/a> published yesterday.<\/p>\n

The company will use the funds to transition into a technology-first logistics provider<\/strong> by developing an AI-driven platform for predictive and automated operations. The investment will also fuel Salasa\u2019s expansion by scaling its network of fulfillment centers, darkstores, and bonded zones across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. It should also enhance its cross-border shipping infrastructure to open new markets for its merchants.<\/p>\n
