This is part of the government\u2019s SAR-denominated sukuk program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>March\u2019s issuances shifted toward smaller tranches and slightly shorter maturities <\/strong><strong>compared to February.<\/strong> Yields remained mostly steady across the board, with a slight uptick for longer-term debt. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The issuance was structured in four tranches:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A two-year tranche<\/strong> valued at SAR 364.2 mn with a 4.76% yield;<\/li>\n<li><strong>A four-year tranche<\/strong> valued at SAR 315.9 mn with a 4.82% yield;<\/li>\n<li><strong>A seven-year tranche<\/strong> valued at SAR 1.46 bn with a 4.85% yield;<\/li>\n<li><strong>A 14-year tranche<\/strong> valued at SAR 500 mn with a yield of 4.99%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>IN CONTEXT-<\/strong> The Kingdom\u2019s borrowing plan for FY 2025 outlined a requirement for some SAR 139 bn in new public debt. The targeted amount is intended to bridge an anticipated SAR 101 bn <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/ksa\/en\/news\/story\/72e76ea0-cfe5-4328-95c3-cf39eefa9004\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">budget deficit<\/a> penciled in for the new fiscal year, in addition to covering some SAR 38 bn required to meet principals\u2019 repayments for loans maturing during the period.
