Regional geopolitical shocks have dampened investor appetite and suppressed FDI<\/strong> inflows into Saudi<\/strong>, Arqaam Capital\u2019s head of fixed income asset management Abdul Kadr Hussain tells Bloomberg TV (watch, runtime: 5:55<\/a>). In discussing the Kingdom\u2019s third quarter \u201canemic FDI\u201d inflows<\/a>, Hussain emphasized a broader structural issue whereby the Kingdom's investment landscape continues to be led by PIF and government-led initiatives as foreign investors adopt a \u201cwait and see\u201d approach towards large diversification-focused investments. <\/p>\n

Getting our ducks in a row:<\/strong> A new investment law<\/a> set to roll out in 2025 and other reforms promoting transparency and ease of doing business will have to take root and \u201cbed in\u201d before foreign investors move in, Hussain said.
