The Foreign Ministry condemned Israel\u2019s seizure of the headquarters of the United <\/strong>Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA)<\/strong> in East Jerusalem \u201cin the strongest terms,\u201d it said in a post on X<\/a>. The post reiterated the Kingdom\u2019s rejection of continued \u201cIsraeli violations of international laws and resolutions\u201d that proceed unchecked, as well as its systematic targeting of UN agencies, relief efforts, and workers.<\/p>\n

IN CONTEXT- <\/strong>The Israel Land Authority seized the land with plans to build 1.4k settlement units at the site, Middle East Eye<\/a> reports, citing Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom. The move comes on the heels of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee\u2019s approval of two bills seeking to limit UNRWA\u2019s operations in Israel, despite UN Security Council warnings to Israel not to proceed with the laws. <\/p>\n

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center<\/strong> set up an air bridge to Lebanon,<\/strong> carrying food, medical, and shelter supplies, state news agency SPA reports<\/a>.
