The Guardian<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s Jonathan Wilson<\/strong> is out with an opinion piece on what he thinks is an<\/strong> uncertain future for Newcastle United<\/strong> under Saudi ownership. Wilson questions whether the club \u2014 which now has \u201cthe richest owners in the world\u201d in the Public Investment Fund \u2014 can find success in the new Premier League season, particularly as the PIF continues to invest in the sports industry, making Newcastle less of an imminent priority.<\/p>\n

REMEMBER-<\/strong> The PIF-owned club is now valued at USD 1.3 bn after the PIF raised its stake to<\/a>85%<\/a>, after the fund bought former owner Amanda Staveley\u2019s stake.<\/p>\n
