It said work has begun on the project, which Aramco is developing with US-German industrial gases giant Linde and leading oilfield services firm SLB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>About the project<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Aramco is developing one of the world\u2019s largest carbon capture and storage hubs with the capacity to store up to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/45bcc40a-f62b-4d33-a403-be824029ee65\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">9 mn tons of carbon dioxide a year<\/a> by 2027. The first phase of the project \u2014 in Jubail Industrial City \u2014 will capture CO2 from three Aramco gas plants and other industrial sources before transporting them for storage in a targeted reservoir.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">HOSPITALITY-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/capellahotelgroup.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Capella Hotel Group<\/a><\/strong><strong> \u2014 the hospitality arm of Singapore-based and privately-owned <\/strong><strong>luxury real estate developer <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pontiacland.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Pontiac Land<\/a><\/strong><strong> \u2014 will open its first coastal destination in the Kingdom<\/strong> at Neom\u2019s wellness retreat <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.neom.com\/en-us\/regions\/elanan\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Elanan<\/a>, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.neom.com\/en-us\/newsroom\/capella-wellness-hotels-and-resorts\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement by Neom<\/a>. The resort in Elanan, which is located in Neom\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.neom.com\/en-us\/regions\/magna\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Magna<\/a> along the Gulf of Aqaba, will feature 80 bespoke rooms and suites. It will focus on providing a \u201cholistic wellness experience\u201d for guests, according to the statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">HEALTHCARE-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>A cheaper cancer treatment? <\/strong>King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre has succeeded in locally producing CAR-T cells to be used in cancer treatment, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spa.gov.sa\/N2127849\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">state news agency SPA<\/a> reported. This will help cut treatment costs by nearly 80.8% to SAR 250k per patient instead of SAR 1.3 mn. It will also make the treatment accessible to patients within two weeks, with local production helping overcome shipping hurdles and costs associated with imports of the T-cells for treatment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>About the treatment:<\/strong> CAR-T cell therapy is an <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.gov\/publications\/dictionaries\/cancer-terms\/def\/car-t-cell-therapy\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">cancer treatment<\/a> that sees the patient\u2019s T cells altered in a laboratory so they attack cancer cells.
