Cabinet mandated the Interior Ministry to discuss and sign a cooperation agreement with <\/strong>the US Department of Justice on exchanging criminal information<\/strong>, state news agency SPA<\/a> reported yesterday. No further details were disclosed.<\/p>\n

Ministers also approved an amendment restructuring the <\/strong>National Authority to Implement <\/strong>Conventions on the Prohibition of Chemical and Biological Weapons <\/strong>to be chaired by the Foreign Ministry. The authority\u2019s board will include representatives of a number of entities, the Cabinet said, without providing further details.<\/p>\n

AND- <\/strong>The government\u2019s State Properties General Authority<\/strong> (SPGA) has gotten cabinet approval to allocate state property to the non-oil sector under rules approved by the authority\u2019s board. No further details were provided. The SPGA was formed by the Cabinet in 2018 to help \u201coptimize the use of state properties and transform the government's properties into developmental and economic opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n
