The financing agreements were signed between a consortium between SEC and Acwa Power and Sidra One for Electricity Company and Qudra One for Electricity Company. They <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/c2ce65ae-bed1-484a-aac4-bf6aa09897ef\/saudi-electricity-company-reports-a-32.3%2525-drop-in-net-income-in-2023\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">signed last year<\/a> power purchase agreements worth SAR 14.6 bn for the two power stations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">OIL &amp; GAS- <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Tadawul-listed oil and gas drilling company Ades Holding <\/strong><strong>was awarded a SAR 161 mn <\/strong><strong>jack-up <\/strong><strong>drilling project in the Gulf of Suez<\/strong>, it said in a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2024\/5\/237.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement (pdf)<\/a>. The 21-month contract was awarded by Egypt\u2019s state-owned <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.suco-eg.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Suez Oil Company<\/a>, with operations scheduled to start in the coming weeks.
