Cairo24 first broke the news last week that Ajlan &amp; Bros was <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/cbfc3d40-7cea-4edf-9607-4d64d9282036\/saudi-arabia%e2%80%99s-ajlan-&amp;-bros-holding-mulls-integrated-tourism-project-in-ras-gamila\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">interested<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The details: <\/strong>If the transaction goes through, the company plans to launch 10 hotels with 3k keys in the first phase of the development at a cost of USD 1.5 bn. The first phase would feature 10 four and five-star hotels, adding 3k rooms to the country\u2019s hotel capacity, Asharq writes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>But that\u2019s not the full ticket: <\/strong>There\u2019s no clarity on how much Ajlan &amp; Bros could pay for the right to develop the site, nor on how much the total project could be worth. UAE wealth fund <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adq.ae\/newsroom\/adq-led-consortium-to-invest-usd-35-billion-in-egypt\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">ADQ agreed in February of this year to pay USD 24 bn<\/a> to acquire the development rights for Ras El Hekma on Egypt\u2019s Mediterranean coast.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>AND- Ajlan &amp; Bros has more projects under its radar in Cairo:<\/strong> The group has submitted separate offers for companies included in Egypt\u2019s privatization program, Asharq said, adding talks on those offers should wrap up within the coming six months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>A spokesman for Egypt\u2019s<\/strong><strong> Enterprise<\/strong><strong> Ministry told online outlet <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/english.ahram.org.eg\/News\/522297.aspx\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Ahram Online<\/a><\/strong> that no offers would be considered until an advisor is hired to work on the investment plan for the Red Sea project.
