He says the ministry will use the information it collects to inform its future policies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>\u201cThe ministry has the right to do whatever is necessary in order to achieve its objectives<\/strong>,including establishing a database of investment and its indicators in the Kingdom,\u201d Al Falih added, without clarifying whether taking the questionnaire is mandatory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>GASTAT is doing something similar, but for the local market: <\/strong>The General Authority for Statistics is <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arabnews.com\/node\/2441966\/business-economy\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">conducting a survey<\/a> to collect data about business activities in the local market. This is expected to cover businesses of all sizes across all sectors and geographical scopes.
