The Industrial Metals and Services Fund has already secured around USD 100 mn in soft commitments and will invest in Saudi-based metals service platforms to support local supply chains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Why it matters: <\/strong>The fund aims to capitalize on the Kingdom\u2019s USD 2.5 tn untapped mineral resources and support the national target of a USD 75 bn annual GDP contribution from mining and industrial services by 2030.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>ICYMI-<\/strong> ECG closed its ECG2.0-Fund2 <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/ksa\/2025\/01\/07\/ecg-closes-sar-600-mn-industrial-and-tech-fund\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">last week<\/a> at an oversubscribed SAR 600 mn (USD 161 mn), though the firm did not disclose the oversubscription rate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">Mouwasat plans SAR 900 mn hospital<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Mouwasat Medical Servi<\/strong><strong>ces will set up a SAR 900 mn new hospital in Riyadh\u2019s Al-Narjis district<\/strong>, adding 280 beds and a range of specialized medical centers, it said in a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.saudiexchange.sa\/wps\/portal\/saudiexchange\/newsandreports\/issuer-news\/issuer-announcements\/issuer-announcements-details\/?anId=92572&anCat=1&cs=4002&locale=en\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">disclosure to tadawul<\/a>. The greenfield project will be financed through a combination of the company\u2019s own funds and long-term Shariah-compliant loans from local banks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Mouwasat enters the crowded fight for North Riyadh: <\/strong>Mouwasat\u2019s planned 280-bed hospital in Al-Narjis will compete directly with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/ksa\/2024\/03\/20\/al-hammadis-net-income-up-17-9-y-o-y-in-2023\/?repeat=w3tc\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Al Hammadi Holding<\/a>, whose hospital in the district is due 2028, and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/ksa\/2025\/11\/11\/care-bags-sar-1-2-bn-in-credit-facilities-from-anb\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">National Medical Care<\/a> who, in November, secured a SAR 1.2 bn in credit facility, some of which will fund a hospital in the same area.
