The finalized agreements \u2014 which includes <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/ksa\/en\/news\/story\/ba25cc84-a4a2-4c02-b221-dc0f1c958c47\/pif-is-reportedly-among-investors-in-aramco%25e2%2580%2599s%253cmark%253e-jafurah%253c%2Fmark%253e-project\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">heavyweights<\/a> like the PIF, its Hassana pension fund, and the Arab Energy Fund, along with other investors from Asia and the Middle East \u2014 will see Jafurah starting production by year-end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>IN CONTEXT- <\/strong>The agreement \u2014 signed originally <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/ksa\/en\/news\/story\/675267d9-98b4-4688-8af9-b56ba2892958\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">in August<\/a> \u2014 covers the Jafurah field gas plant and the Riyas NGL fractionation facility, which is leased to the newly created subsidiary, Jafurah Midstream Gas Company (JMGC), and leased back to Aramco for 20 years. Aramco holds a 51% stake in JMGC, while the GIP-led consortium owns the remaining 49%. The consortium reportedly raised a financing package of nearly USD 10 bn <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/ksa\/en\/news\/story\/be7113fb-d923-419a-8afb-48db9fefbdab\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">last month<\/a> to fund the investment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>ALSO- Aramco plans to invest USD 2 bn in Aramco Digital over the next two to three <\/strong><strong>years to expand its technology capabilities<\/strong>, President and CEO Amin Nasser <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/saudigazette.com.sa\/article\/656080\/SAUDI-ARABIA\/Aramco-CEO-Amin-Nasser-announces-$2-billion-investment-in-Aramco-Digital-at-FII9-Riyadh\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>.
