Under the new solution, customers will be able to accelerate the movement of cargo due to increased visibility and control via real-time tracking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>SOUND SMART- A Landbridge?<\/strong> A landbridge is an intermodal <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cwi-logistics.com\/news\/what-is-a-landbridge\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">transportation method<\/a> that involves the movement of cargo via a combination of land, rail, and maritime corridors domestically, internationally, or across continents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>We have one in the works:<\/strong> A USD 7 bn Landbridge project is slated for completion by 2030 in Saudi Arabia. The landbridge will connect the Kingdom\u2019s Red Sea coast to the Arabian Gulf and includes the development of six railway lines and seven logistics centers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">OIL WATCH-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a id=\"wwtt4\"><\/a> <\/strong><strong>Saudi Arabia ramped up crude oil shipments to Europe via Egypt\u2019s Ain Sukhna<\/strong><strong> terminal<\/strong> \u2014 the Red Sea export point of the Sumed pipeline \u2014 to 1.3 mn bbl \/ d in September, the highest level since April 2020, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mees.com\/2025\/10\/10\/opec\/saudi-crude-shipments-to-europe-rebound\/2e7d60d0-a5de-11f0-9aaa-1ff7aaccf29d\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Mees<\/a> reports, citing Kpler data. The Kingdom\u2019s total <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/ksa\/en\/news\/story\/8137d7ca-e1ae-4fab-8925-ba7abd51ab5a\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">crude exports<\/a> climbed to 6.42 mn bbl \/ d last month \u2014 the highest in a year and a half.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>IN CONTEXT- <\/strong>Back in April 2020, Saudi output hit a record 11.87 mn bbl \/ d as Aramco opened the taps to pressure other producers into agreeing to deep cuts. That wave saw exports to Europe spike to 1.64 mn bbl \/ d. While production last month reached 9.93 mn bbl \/ d \u2014 still a 27-month high \u2014 it was nearly 2 mn bbl \/ d below the pandemic peak. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>September's surge partly reflects a recovery from August\u2019s slump in exports to Western <\/strong><strong>markets<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> It may also indicate higher crude stocks at Aramco\u2019s storage hub in Egypt\u2019s Sidi Kerir, though shipping data points to a clear increase in actual exports, Mees said. Crude outflows from Sidi Kerir, where Aramco is the main supplier, climbed to 1 mn bbl \/ d in September \u2014 their first return to such levels since February last year, according to Kpler\u2019s figures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Poland and Italy were the largest European destinations for Saudi crude from Sidi Kerir. <\/strong>Poland\u2019s Gdansk refinery took in roughly 300k bbl \/ d, supported by Aramco\u2019s 30% stake in the local refinery acquired in 2022.
