On the council\u2019s agenda: A handful of decisions from the GCC\u2019s Supreme Council summit in Doha last December, several unspecified \u201cmemoranda and reports submitted by the ministerial and technical committees,\u201d and strategic ties between the bloc and other countries. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Meetings with Russia + India + Brazil on the sidelines:<\/strong> The GCC ministers are also scheduled to hold ministerial meetings on strategic dialogues with each of Russia, India, and Brazil on the sidelines of the main council meetings, the statement said. Though originally seen ending in December 2023, the government extended the 1 mn bbl \/ d cut through 1Q 2024 and now seems poised to continue it <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/ksa\/en\/news\/story\/3286cbff-632f-42e9-924c-581b0232a7db\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">through June 2024<\/a>, maintaining production at 9 mn bpd. OPEC+ also shelved <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/ksa\/en\/news\/story\/f90d07cc-f8eb-4b77-8ecb-8d191bf1a145\/al-khorayef-continues-east-asia-tour\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">a planned 180k bbl \/ d output hike<\/a> set for next month earlier this week as oil prices hit their lowest in a year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>On a quarterly basis:<\/strong> Real GDP grew by 1.4% when compared to the previous quarter, on the back of a boost to government activities (up 2.3% q-o-q) and non-oil activities (up 2.1% q-o-q).
