Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan visited Moscow on Friday, where he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to discuss boosting economic, cultural, and energy ties between the two countries, the Foreign Ministry said on X.
What was in the talks? Bin Farhan noted growing trade and tourism links, and said both sides are working toward a visa waiver agreement. The ministers reaffirmed their cooperation under the Opec+ alliance and discussed regional issues including Palestine, the Iranian nuclear file, and the Kingdom’s ongoing mediation efforts between Russia and Ukraine.
ALSO- The Kingdom will prioritize a lasting ceasefire in Gaza before considering the normalization of ties with Israel, Reuters quoted Bin Farhan as saying during the visit.
