Em<\/strong>aar Misr CEO Mostafa El Kady was terminated on May 25, <\/strong>according to an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a> , <\/strong>with group founder Mohamed Alabba<\/strong>r (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) stepping in to run Egyptian operations. <\/strong>Alabbar will exercise \u201cdirect and full oversight of the company\u2019s business operations and affairs,\u201d Emaar Misr said In a separate disclosure (pdf)<\/a>, with board member Mohamed Eid re-designated from non-executive to executive director to support him in the expanded capacity (pdf)<\/a>.
