\ud83c\udf10 The shooting at the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner at the <\/strong>Washington Hilton<\/strong>, where US President Donald Trump was swiftly escorted off stage, is still getting top billing. The suspect has been identified as 31-year-old California resident Cole Tomas Allen, who fired at a Secret Service agent before being arrested. It remains unclear whether Trump was the target of the attack.<\/p>\n

In the wake of the incident, Trump used the shooting to bolster his USD 400 mn White House ballroom project<\/strong>, arguing it would be a more \u201csecure building\u201d with bulletproof glass and drone-proof measures. The project has been stalled due to ongoing litigation.<\/p>\n
