Enppi was appointed as the general contractor for the project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>REMEMBER- <\/strong>Arcius Energy \u2014 a JV between BP and Adnoc\u2019s investment arm XRG \u2014 first <a href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/egypt\/2025\/11\/06\/arcius-energy-takes-over-harmattan-gas-field\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquired<\/a> the field from Shell and BP in November under a concession transfer agreement with Egas that grants it full rights to the El Burg offshore block. The company said it is planning to drill up to three wells, install a fixed offshore platform, and build a 50 km pipeline to onshore processing facilities near Port Said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">EBRD provides USD 20 mn loan to Futurefert<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>The Eu<\/strong><strong>ro<\/strong><strong>p<\/strong><strong>ean Bank for Reconstruction and Development is lending USD<\/strong><strong> 20<\/strong><strong> mn to local fertilizer producer Futurefert<\/strong> to help fund the construction and operations of three plants in the SCZone, the lender said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/home\/news-and-events\/news\/2026\/ebrd-lends-us--20-million-to-futurefert-in-egypt.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>. The USD 45.7 mn project includes the establishment of a sulphuric acid plant, a potassium sulphate plant, and a single superphosphate plant, which are set to export to European and African markets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">First Egyptian killed in regional war<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>Egy<\/strong><strong>pt<\/strong><strong>ian <\/strong><strong>engineer Hossam Sadek Khalifa was killed at Abu Dhabi\u2019s<\/strong><strong> Habshan gas<\/strong><strong> plant after debris from intercepted Iranian missiles sparked fires<\/strong>, while two other Egyptians were injured, the Oil Ministry said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EgyptianCabinet\/posts\/pfbid02n1kpZcFZ6Ucx3BHtPcy9CarYU2sCn36Qb2ZPb1qxPyyRh7QpKyFA7qzu937yRAEQl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>, expressing condolences to his family.
