Today, we\u2019re looking at why acting the fool in the face of reality might be exactly what you need to keep moving. In other words: sometimes, you just need to be a little delusional.<\/p>\n

But first, the news\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

THE BIG STORY TODAY-<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccd Fertilizer manufacturers<\/a><\/strong> likely won\u2019t be alone in seeing gas prices rise in tandem with their export prices. <\/strong>The government is mulling a flexible and gradually introduced pricing structure for natural gas for some sectors to cushion the state from rising energy import bills while keeping margins in the industrial sector viable, three government officials tell EnterpriseAM.<\/p>\n

But this won\u2019t apply to all sectors<\/strong>, with the food industry and other essential goods producers likely to have their gas bill remain the same. With inflation for many of these goods already rising, the state seems willing to shoulder the increased energy costs to try to keep inflation in check and production at sufficient levels. The ceramics sector will also likely see prices remain the same on the back of a growing backlog in the sector \u2014 at least until there\u2019s greater clarity in the markets.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf10 It\u2019s another busy afternoon in the global press<\/strong>, with US President Donald Trump reiterating that the war with Iran could end in \u201ctwo to three weeks.\u201d Trump also topped headlines after threatening to leave NATO if European countries don\u2019t step up to stop Iran from blocking the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

Not long after, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that <\/strong>t<\/strong>he UK would gather 35 countries to discuss ways to reopen and secure the strait.<\/strong> Meanwhile, as strikes between Iran and Israel continue, Iran\u2019s IRGC has threatened to attack US tech companies, including Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, and Google, in retaliation for US assassinations in Iran.<\/p>\n

In the business press, Oracle made significant job cuts on Tuesday <\/strong>\u2014 about 10k workers are believed to have lost their jobs via a 6am email. The software company has been investing heavily in AI and has witnessed its stock plummet this year. <\/p>\n
