\ud83c\udf55We\u2019re spoil<\/strong>ed for choice when it comes to pizza in C-town, but a legit New York-style slice? That\u2019s a sight for sore eyes.<\/strong> T<\/a>wo Broz<\/a> aims to fill that void from a kiosk smack in the middle of Degla Square in Maadi, and it has some creative offerings to choose from.<\/p>\n

The menu at a glance: <\/strong>The eatery goes beyond tried-and-tested formulas, serving up pieces like the Ranch Smash, the Truffle Hustle, the Pestoroni, and the sweet hot honey Aunt Honey. For the purposes of our review, we opted for the Ranch Smash\u2026 and a foreboding Two Broz Hell.<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t lie, our expectations were high\u2026 <\/strong>but unfortunately, Two Broz didn\u2019t quite meet them. While the Two Broz Hell slice, loaded with pepperoni and smoked beef, seemed promising, we found that some ingredients \u2014 particularly the onion \u2014 were overwhelmingly dominant, disrupting the balance. The sauces bled into one another, and several ingredients got lost in the mix. The Ranch Smash didn\u2019t suffer from the same fate, but we felt the ranch was a little underutilized. In terms of crust, the edges were a little too burnt \u2014 which you may or may not enjoy.<\/p>\n

Our verdict: <\/strong>While Two Broz serves up something different than the competition, we\u2019d argue there is still room for improvement to truly deliver the experience it promises. For now, we\u2019ll be sticking to our usual go-tos, but it\u2019s possible that we caught them on a bad day. If you\u2019re curious, we\u2019d still say it\u2019s worth a try.<\/p>\n
