\ud83d\udccd Gov\u2019t to launch \u201cCitizen Bond\u201d via Egypt Post this Sunday:<\/strong> The Finance Ministry will debut its first retail-focused \u201cCitizen Bond\u201d (Sanad El Mowaten) for individual investors this Sunday, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk announced. The 18-month, fixed-income instrument will be sold exclusively through Egypt Post\u2019s nationwide network \u2014 a partnership Chairperson Dalia El Baz says reflects \u201cconfidence in the Post\u2019s operational capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The details: <\/strong>The bond is designed as a \u201csecure savings and investment tool with a distinctive fixed monthly return,\u201d Kouchouk said, and will offer a net periodic return of 16-18% after taxes, a senior government source told EnterpriseAM. The source further noted that this provides a \u201cgood monthly return of 3-4%,\u201d adding that as inflation continues to retreat, \u201cthe real return will be higher in future issuances.\u201d<\/p>\n
