Cha<\/strong>m<\/strong>bers <\/strong>and Partners unveiled its <\/strong>2026 list of top arbitration firms and<\/a><\/strong>lawyers in Egypt<\/a><\/strong>. Youssef + Partners<\/strong> and Zulficar & Partners<\/strong> retained their position in the top-ranked band for the seventh consecutive year. Matouk Bassiouny<\/strong>, Shahid Law Firm,<\/strong> and Shalakany Law Office <\/strong>once again secured spots in Band 2, while ALC Alieldean Wehashi & Partners<\/strong> and Khodeir & Partners <\/strong>placed in Band 3.<\/p>\n

On the individual front<\/strong>, Youssef + Partners\u2019 Karim Youssef<\/strong> earned the top distinction as a Star Individual. Kosheri, Rashed & Riad\u2019s Tarek Riad<\/strong> and Shalakany Law Office\u2019s Khaled El Shalakany<\/strong> were named Senior Statepeople.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s expanded list is \u201ca positive development that shows the field is widening and<\/strong> becoming more diverse in Egypt\u201d<\/strong>, Youssef + Partners\u2019 Chairman Karim Youssef tells EnterpriseAM. Yet, it still lacks female representation, signaling that \u201cEgypt still lags behind other jurisdictions on that front,\u201d Youssef said.<\/p>\n

Majid Al Futtaim is now fully green-certified across its mall network<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maj<\/strong>id <\/strong>Al <\/strong>Futtaim became the first retail operator in the region to<\/strong> secure sustainability certifications across its entire shopping mall portfolio<\/strong>, the company said in a statement (pdf)<\/a>. All of its 23 fully-owned malls are now certified green assets \u2014 including 18 certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum, four certified LEED Gold, and one holding Estidama Three Pearls rating.<\/p>\n
