Adidas<\/strong> nominated Egyptian businessman Nassef Sawiris to serve as the<\/strong> next chairman of its supervisory board<\/strong>, the German sportswear manufacturer said in a statement<\/a>. Sawiris \u2014 who has been a member of the board since 2016, deputy chairman since 2025, and currently holds around 7% of the company through his NNS Group \u2014 is set to succeed Thomas Rabe following the company\u2019s annual general meeting on 7 May.<\/p>\n

Vodafone Egypt<\/strong> appointed 20-year company veteran Kareem Eid<\/strong> (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as<\/strong> its chief commercial officer<\/strong>, effective as of April, according to a company statement seen by EnterpriseAM. Eid will head a newly unified commercial structure that brings Vodafone\u2019s consumer business, customer service, wholesale, and fintech crown jewel, Vodafone Cash, under a single reporting line.<\/p>\n

CI Capital has appointed <\/strong>Hisham Okasha<\/strong> as non-executive chairman of the<\/strong> board, representing majority shareholder Banque Misr<\/strong>, according to an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a>. Okasha, currently the CEO of Banque Misr, succeeds our friend Ahmed Issa<\/a>, the former Minister of Tourism.
