The group \u2014 which includes El Garhy Steel and several family members \u2014 held 7.6% at the end of October, according to an EFG Holding regulatory filing<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>If they\u2019re successful, the Garhy family\u2019s total stake would rise to 12.7%<\/strong>, putting them on par with France\u2019s Natixis as one of the financial services giant\u2019s two largest shareholders.
