RETAIL-<\/p>\n

OB F<\/strong>inancial Holding \u2014 <\/strong>FKA as Orascom Financial Holding<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 plans to <\/strong>establish a new subsidiary in the retail sector<\/strong>, according to a disclosu<\/a>re (pdf)<\/a> to the EGX. The proposed unit will focus on investing in companies in the food and beverage sector and is expected to launch in 1H 2026, OB Financial\u2019s Investor Relations Officer Mahmoud Sabri told Al Borsa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new company will be managed by private equity firm <\/strong>BPE Partners<\/a><\/strong>, while OB Financial will retain full ownership during its establishment phase. Later, it plans to reduce its stake in the company to below 25%.<\/p>\n

MANUFACTURING-<\/p>\n

Electro<\/strong>nics and home appliances manufacturer El Araby Group will begin <\/strong>locally manufacturing fixed internet home routers<\/strong>, Al Mal<\/a> reports, citing sources it says are in the know. The project will be carried out in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency and a local mobile network operator. The project\u2019s first phase will have a local component ratio of 40%.<\/p>\n
