The seven-year tranche\u2019s 7.950% yield is down 35 bps on comparable Egyptian debt of the same maturity. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The new issuance\u2019s yields are also lower than those on our three-year maiden sukuk <\/strong><strong>tranche in 2023<\/strong>, which was initially priced at 11.0% before market momentum dragged the yield down. Insider sources in previous comments to EnterpriseAM attributed the dip to an improvement in our credit rating and the stable economic outlook.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The Finance Ministry\u2019s strategy is to improve government debt by focusing on <\/strong><strong>diversifying financing sources and broadening the investor base<\/strong>, according to the statement.
