Our IMF program under the spotlight: <\/strong>El Hekaya\u2019s Amr Adib voiced (watch, runtime: 1:39<\/a> | 1:19<\/a>) his unhappiness with the IMF\u2019s demands for the fifth and sixth reviews of our USD 8 bn loan program, calling them \u201ccostly\u201d and warning that the average Egyptian is the one who bears the brunt of those reforms. <\/p>\n

ICYMI- <\/strong>The IMF will send a mission<\/a> on 1 October to wrap up its fifth and sixth reviews of our USD 8 bn Extended Fund Facility Arrangement. Progress on privatization and phasing out subsidies are expected to top talks between the Fund and local authorities. <\/p>\n
