Our friends at Beltone Holding renewed the appointment of Dalia <\/strong>Khorshid (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as CEO and managing director for an additional three-year term<\/strong>, the company said in a statement (pdf)<\/a>. Khorshid has held the role since August 2022 and led the firm\u2019s return to profitability, expanded its footprint in non-banking financial services, and steered its ongoing digital transformation.<\/p>\n

Khorshid and her team have turned Beltone around, delivering <\/strong>nearly 5x bottom line<\/a><\/strong>growth in 2024<\/a><\/strong> at EGP 1.7 bn, while growing revenues 4x after a sustained turnaround driven by a deeper push into non-bank financial services and a refocusing of the investment bank.<\/p>\n

Shareholders also elected a new board of directors for a three-year term<\/strong>, including Sayed Shoeib as non-executive chairman and Mohamed Hisham Abdel Moneim and Mirian Khalaf as non-executive board members representing Chimera\u2019s investment vehicle Chimpe 1 Investment SPV, according to an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a>. Wael Mostafa and Marwa Kamal were also elected as independent non-executive board members.<\/p>\n
