President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed <\/strong>bin <\/strong>Salman in Neom at the end of last week in Saudi Arabia<\/strong>, where the two leaders agreed to expedite the launch of the Egyptian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council<\/a> as the umbrella framework for bilateral ties, according to an Ittihadiya statement<\/a>. The council will steer new partnerships in industrial integration, tech localization, transport, renewable energy, and urban development. Both sides also stressed the importance of boosting joint investment and trade.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of El Sisi\u2019s state visit, Industry and Transport Minister Kamel El Wazir <\/strong>held <\/strong>talks in Riyadh with the Saudi Secretary-General of the Supreme Coordination Council <\/strong>to advance preparations for the council\u2019s first leaders\u2019 summit, according to a statement<\/a>. The meetings highlighted the entry into force of the Egypt-Saudi agreement on promoting and protecting mutual investments, which will unlock new Saudi inflows and support cross-investment by Egyptian companies in the kingdom. <\/p>\n

AND- The Foreign Ministry warned of \u201cgrave consequences\u201d should Israel proceed with a <\/strong>military push to seize Gaza\u2019s cities<\/strong>, calling it a blatant violation of international law and an effort to entrench occupation, according to a statement<\/a>. The ministry denounced what it described as Israel\u2019s systematic crimes against civilians and attempts to displace Palestinians, and urged the UN Security Council to act immediately to stop the war and ensure humanitarian access.
