EFG Holding saw its net income after minority interest increase 2% y-o-y in 2Q 2025 to reach EGP 802 mn<\/strong>, according to the company\u2019s latest earnings release (pdf)<\/a>. Revenues grew 21% y-o-y during the quarter to record EGP 6.1 bn.<\/p>\n

Fawry's net income after minority interest more than doubled y-o-y in 2Q 2025 to reach EGP 651.6 mn<\/strong>, according to the company\u2019s earnings release (pdf)<\/a>. Revenues rose 62.6% y-o-y during the quarter to record EGP 1.97 bn.<\/p>\n

Palm Hills Developments reported a 28.8% y-o-y increase in net income after minority interest in 2Q 2025 to reach EGP 903 mn<\/strong>, according to the company\u2019s earning release (pdf)<\/a>. Revenues jumped 52.6% y-o-y during the quarter to record EGP 7.19 bn.<\/p>\n

SCZone signs USD 85 mn Chinese flooring plant in Sokhna:<\/strong> China\u2019s Jiangsu Zhengyong Flooring Decoration Material Co. will invest USD 85 mn to build a 181k sqm plant in the Ain Sokhna industrial zone to produce PVC\/WPC\/SPC flooring and wall panels, SCZone said in a statement<\/a>. The facility targets annual output of 27 mn sqm, with 90% earmarked for export and around 500 direct jobs.<\/p>\n

ALSO<\/strong>- Over 100 international organizations have inked a joint letter<\/a> calling for an end to Israel\u2019s \u201cweaponisation of aid\u201d amid starvation. The signees include humanitarian groups Oxfam and M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res (MSF), who noted that they constantly risk being banned from entry in the case of noncompliance with Israel\u2019s \u201cvague and politicised criteria.\u201d Israel\u2019s aid registration requirements include the \u201cmandatory submission of details of private donors, complete Palestinian staff lists, and other sensitive information about personnel for so-called \u2018security\u2019 vetting to Israeli authorities,\u201d the letter reads.
