These investments include the opening of new branches, the maintenance of existing ones, and the upgrading of technological infrastructure and digital marketing solutions. The company aims to increase the number of its branches from 194 to 280 over the next five years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- <\/strong>The vast majority of McDonald\u2019s restaurants are franchise locations \u2014 and in Egypt, all of its restaurants are owned and run by its local franchise partner Manfoods. The exclusive franchise by Manfoods, a Mansour Group subsidiary, started in 1994 when it opened the fast food chain\u2019s first restaurants in the country.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"height:2px;border-width:0;color:gray;background-color:gray\">\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- Supermarket chain Bim is investing EGP 2 bn to open 200 new branches <\/strong><strong>across Egypt this year<\/strong>, Director of Legal affairs and Government Relations Ehab Khalil, told <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alborsaanews.com\/2025\/08\/05\/1906232\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Al Borsa<\/a>. The expansion would bring its total footprint to 650 locations, up from 450 currently.
